A mercenary group discovers a seemingly amnesiac man in a ravine and takes him in, despite his initial 'corpse-like' state. The man is revealed to be hiding the fact that he remembers he wields a sword and has some 'dark seed' he's trying to conceal.
Chapter Synopsis
The chapter opens with the mercenary group preparing to leave. They stumble upon a body in a ravine, which turns out to be a man, disheveled and seemingly dead but alive. The man claims to be suffering from amnesia but can recall how to wield a sword, raising suspicion. He secretly reveals he possesses a "seed of darkness" and is intentionally feigning memory loss in order to blend into the mercenary group and hide his identity.
