Chapter Synopsis
The chapter opens with the aftermath of an attack, with knights retreating and tending to the wounded after encountering a seemingly enraged bear. The group speculates on what could have provoked the bear, wondering if the previous group had done something to anger it. Meanwhile, one of the characters is clearly suffering from some type of physical addiction and uses some unknown power to try and mask it and move away from the main party in an effort to protect them. The chapter ends with the discovery of the obliterated group that followed the prince and the main group starting to investigate what happened.
