Chapter Synopsis
A new recruit surprisingly blocks a powerful attack from Sir Francis, a mid-rank knight, leading others to believe he is of captain-level strength. This causes Francis to become embarrassed and agitated, and the recruit challenges him to a duel. Meanwhile, Princess Tia attends the enlistment ceremony, attempting to leave after her speech, but the recruit manipulates her into staying and watching the duel by playing on her insecurities and desires to escape her title.
