Chapter Synopsis

The group decides to split up, and it's heavily implied that Lieutenant Xue intentionally manipulated this plan to reach a specific location, further building suspicion of his knowledge of the dungeon. The chapter ends with the revelation that the path taken by Xue is seemingly devoid of enemies due to an ongoing vanguard.
