Chapter Synopsis
The chapter opens with a discussion about unpleasant demon abilities and a warrior's arrival to deal with a possessed Sage. The warrior reveals that the demon in the Sage's body is accelerating Draculion's resurrection. It is revealed the demon manipulated Draculion using the grief from losing his wife to revive her with sacrifices, highlighting the demon's complex plan. The warrior questions the demon in the sage about how he learned about the plan, as only Meyril was supposed to know the details. Finally the demon reveals that, Draculion has digested half of the sacrifices, implying that he was in on the plot.
