Chapter Synopsis

Simultaneously, in the midst of battle, a soldier, on the verge of becoming an undead, asks a mage for a weapon, revealing that they are losing the fight and that others are being harmed. The soldier is connected to a group of knights, of which the mage is not a companion, but is instead a mere servant. The chapter ends with the introduction of an ancient monster with god-class magic.
