Chapter Synopsis
Rudiger attempts to discreetly search for Esmeralda but gets tangled in a dispute with Evan Luke, a noble, who tries to use his company's influence to threaten him. Chancellor Elisa intervenes, proposing a duel between Rudiger and Luke's aide which Rudiger wins. This results in the chairman of the Luke Company apologizing and Rudiger using this distraction to meet with the animism professors, eventually learning that Esmeralda might be a student instead of a professor.
