Chapter Synopsis
After a fierce battle, Luka and Ilay are the only survivors from their side. Luka is severely wounded and questions his dedication to the Empire, seeing the gruesome nature of Imperial power firsthand. Ilay, recognizing Luka's unhappiness, encourages him to seek freedom and pursue his desires outside of the Empire, despite the risks and their duty. Ilay ultimately prioritizes Luka's personal fulfillment over their Imperial obligations and his own safety. The chapter also hints at the immense power of a 'Legion' armored Imperial Guard.
