Chapter Synopsis
Karina is introduced to a less formal banquet in the North, where she is accompanied by Millian who pretends to be busy to encourage her interaction with the other nobles. During the event, she meets Baron Kramba and Marin Ariel, both of whom seem interested in her. She later learns about a custom where a Heron, a prized item, is gifted to a significant person of the opposite sex, further complicating the nature of Millian's recent command to collect many of them. Count Schley then reveals Karina's engagement to Millian is about to be annulled, adding an unexpected twist.
