Chapter Synopsis
The chapter begins with Nox's group losing their way to Chaders, prompting Nox to take the lead by identifying owl bear tracks. He then confidently guides them through an uncharted area. Meanwhile, the family patriarch Theo tests Nox's abilities with the family's cursed sword, Stormbringer, which drains its wielder's life force. The chapter ends with Nox having successfully wielded the sword for an extended period, further proving his strength to the patriarch, albeit not without cost.
