Hestia, having knowledge from reading a novel about this world, intervenes when she sees Marquis Caelus about to commit suicide. She then proposes marriage to him, aiming to stay by his side and use her ability to see the future to prevent his death, even though the proposal is driven by her novel knowledge, not love. Uros, Caelus's loyal butler, is initially suspicious of Hestia's abrupt arrival and actions, but ultimately allows her to stay the night.
