Chapter Synopsis
The chapter opens with the group trying to deal with the chain seal on Selbirah. After discovering that the seal is preventing Selbirah's recovery, Seri forms a contract which temporarily overrules the seal. However, to fully undo the seal, they learn they need to find the original sacrifice used to create the seal, which is located somewhere on a snowy mountain. Vinchen, having dealt with a similar curse in the past, is deeply motivated to find the sacrifice, determined to not lose another person because of a curse. The chapter ends with the group using their connections to locate where the original sacrifice may be, with Vinchen seemingly prepared to resort to extreme measures.
