Chapter Synopsis

In prison, Daven reflects on his upbringing, constantly overshadowed by his blessed cousin Kajin, revealing years of abuse and the immense pressure placed on him by his parents due to his lack of talent, his one arm, and his lack of a god's blessing, which always resulted in him being compared to Kajin and seen as a failure and a disappointment.
