Chapter Synopsis
The chapter introduces a new character, Ivy Claire, who tasks a mercenary group with investigating the disappearance of a landlord and an investigator in Thrim village. The mercenaries, particularly one nicknamed "Seaweed-head", notice the Baron and his butler's suspicious behavior and decide to leave immediately instead of staying the night. As they approach the village, they sense a growing disturbance, indicating something unusual is happening in Thrim.
