Seol Yeong arrives at a sacred mountain seeking stream water, and a mysterious man helps him, knowing his need for it. The monks at the temple are behaving strangely after a visit from a mysterious guest. Seol Yeong then encounters a rival who he suspects of stalking him and is forced to deal with his own complicated past and why he was spared previously by this man. The chapter ends with Seol Yeong realizing that the head monk is missing and he's not the only one suspicious.
