Chapter Synopsis
The chapter opens with Azadin being mocked by other association members for his unorthodox ascension to Herald status, his past failures, and his perceived lack of skill. A confrontation arises when Azadin requests clean clothes, escalating to threats and demands for a duel. This is diffused by the arrival of Derick, who intervenes to calm the situation and invite Azadin to dinner. Later, Azadin is questioned about Arael, his revered sister, before revealing he's collected a rare wand, though not the desired 'Book of the Divine King' copy, indicating his task is far from complete.
