The chapter starts with the main characters failing a quest against a powerful monster due to a time limit, however, because they completed part of it, they are given a second chance. They initially refuse, fearing civilian casualties because the quest would take place during the day. However, another player activates the quest causing it to become a competition. They accept to prevent collateral damage, also realizing the other player might be dangerous, while also uncovering further connections between the game's lore and the real world including hints about a black hole and the main storyline involving the heroes, monsters and a God.
