Chapter Synopsis
The chapter opens with Ignets gathering failed swordsman candidates, proposing a mercenary band to overthrow noble families and change the world. However, most disagree and opt for a less ambitious life. Ignets, choosing to go it alone, is attacked by a masked foe who self-destructs during the fight. The story then shifts to a flashback where a younger Ignets is encouraged to attend the Chrono Swordsmanship Academy by an elder, hoping to gain power to help her village, only to find it destroyed upon her return.
