Chapter Synopsis
Baek Ho-min faces a trial in the tower basement where he encounters a powerful 'Mirror Butterfly' enemy. He is unexpectedly aided by a mysterious voice, later revealed to be the constellation Ripple, who he believes is present. Overcoming the trial, Baek Ho-min receives a blessing that lets him generate 'starlight,' protecting him from becoming a parasite. He learns that the area is a loop where past events repeat, and he and Kang Ha-jin are both given blessings, although Kang received a far less powerful night vision. A discussion reveals that Ripple is actually deceased, although he saw her physically, and that the nature of the blessings and 'The One' is far deeper than understood.
