It is revealed that she is possessed by a parasite, Antinus, and is using people's mana gathered from churches to hasten the catastrophe. Dokja and Junghyeok intervene, with Dokja having a plan to counter the poison and Junghyeok being emotionally involved due to Seolhwa's importance to him. They learn the true purpose of Guides and are confronted by Antinus within Seolhwa.
