One of the characters, Lu, intends to use the sword to fight the Duke, but then gets confronted by a character who reveals they have Khabour's bracelet and has inherited his will, forcing Lu into a difficult decision. Vilai, being deceived about the sword's location is now planning to use the dukes daughter as bait to get at the duke.
