Chapter Synopsis
Namgoong ChunJun is furious about his recent defeat, refusing to believe it was a fair fight. Meanwhile, Macheol is tasked with assassinating a young member of the Gu Clan who is temporarily without his usual guard. The assassination is carried out, and the victim, a young woman who appears to be a reincarnated being, expresses apologies before seemingly dying and disappearing, claiming she needs rest in her child's body. The chapter ends with her departure and the sense that a larger plot is at play.
