He then meets the mountain god, Gwanak, who explains the weakening of the mountain's energy due to past actions and reveals that the tree's fruit might be the legendary 'Peaches of Immortality'. They are interrupted by an impending threat of people who are coming to seize the tree's power, and the protagonist prepares to consume a fruit to gain power to protect them both.
