Chapter Synopsis
The chapter opens with a maid named Ciel realizing she's living inside a novel where the Grand Duke, Ferze, is destined to be killed by the female lead, Liena. Knowing Liena will poison Ferze, Ciel drinks the poison herself, believing it will only cause her a mild illness and that she'll be recognized for saving Ferze. The poison, however, has the unexpected side effect of turning her into a child, setting up a dramatic shift in the story.
